When developing film always check you have read the correct development time for the dilution of developer you are using and vice versa.

Under fixing (if thats the correct term) will result in cloudy film.
Fortunately it seems to be a recoverable mistake, as the excess silver halide will still be removed by re-imersion in fixer even after exposure to light. (please correct me if im missing something here)
If I understand this correctly its because said excess silver halide has not been affected by the developer and will be removed regardless of light exposure. It is only the parts that have been acted upon by the developer that remain?
Adam, 1. you checked the dev.time and temp. your choice. Keep it the same. 2.
The copy should tell the fix time, and you can give a visual. and most of what your saying has fact, but bringing in the term under fixing is not good. Stains become the problem and unless you know how to use A #7 brush, take time with fix and wash.
