Opportunities in disguise?

Posted by Dewbius | 2008-08-17 | Comments: (4) | Hits: 1875

Due to some unfortunate circumstances and general lack of work I have been forced to leave Melbourne and return to Tasmania, a situation that does not suit me. I had barely begun to photograph the place and surrounds

Though it may be a blessing in disguise as I now can give serious thought to returning to school to study photography, which is something I have been hard at contemplating for some time now.

The question is where and what course, and indeed is it worth it?

I have also had much more time to practice photographic and image editing techniques, with results that hopefully show much improvement, especially in printed form.

Perhaps it is also time to consider at least attempting to derive some income from selling prints or my services.

Sometimes when things go wrong opportunities are hidden inside.

Think positive, develop your own style and keep a couple of old sayings in mind.

Every cloud has a silver lining, when one door closes another opens.

Good Luck,Les.

If the only person you have to answer to is you, then follow your dreams.

Aaaaah Les..... the landscape in Tasmania is awesome... hope to get there some day.
Selling your photo's is certainly a way to go. There are a number of on-line websites that you can utilise and be paid through Paypal. One that comes to mind is www.clickpic.com - check it out.
Don't forget us here on the mainland.
Take care
