Myshots Competition #3
Another month has passed far too quickly and it is back to dusting off that old camera, pulling out your set of lenses and off you go.
This months competition subject is:
Macro
So that means close-ups of insects, flowers or even abstract things are what you want to frame.
If you have a macro lens, you are ahead of the game, but often even compact cameras have amazing macro capabilities so give it a try!
We can't wait to see what you guys come up with.
The prize will be a 2 GB Memory card, we order the right one for your camera.

- You need to be member of Myshots in order to enter the free contest. You can Sign up here!
- Upload your image in the right category! The category for this month is: Contest/Macro
We will only judge images which are submitted to that very category.
- Keyword your image with: macrocontest (and at least 2 more keywords that describe your image)
- Closing date is 25 November 2007; the winner will be announced on our website on 30 November 2007
- One image may be submitted per person
- Not only will the winner receive the prize but also the top 3 images will be displayed in our pretty slideshow on the main page of MyShots
- Judges will be the MyShots team, but you can still rate and comment on all pictures, and perhaps influence our decision. So, make sure you rate and comment like crazy!
- No matter where you live, we will send the prize anywhere in the world.
- Having lots of fun is a must!
I have recently sent you a message which ended with me asking, what is the next campetition going to be. I should have looked in "News" first. Sorry Kojak.
Now what can I do a close-up of!! I think I'll try uncle Vernon's pocket watch, no everyone does that sort of thing. I know, where's my camera!!!!
There does not appear to be a subject heading for contest 3 in the drop down menu of the category list.Could you fix this asap please?
You are completely right Davles, the category has been created.
Thank you
Excited about the competition and the community! I need to keep my camera with me - all the time, with my eye set at macro!
very cool. Thank-you Kojak!
