Hi Folks.
Are you all ready for Christmas yet?
I smile when I here people say how much there is to do in preparing for Christmas. I simply explain to Ena that she is so much better at these things than me, and that's it, job done.
Do you remember, last week I told you that we had a break in at the Camera Club? You do!!!
OK, I'll give you an update, but I'm warning you, you'll find it hard to beleive.
If you remember it started off two Mondays ago with Les going to the cupboard and shouting. "Roy come and see this" and we found our securely padlocked metal locker broken open, and the laptop and digital projector missing. Well, this Monday Les again shouted "Roy, come and see this" I went to the small room where our cupboard is, and, there on the table in amongst some rubbish was our projector, still in it's metal carrying case. Although the case is always unlocked, someone had tried to prise it open with a bar of some sort. After opening the still unlocked case there was our lovely projector aparently undamaged. I told you this would be hard to beleive didn't I!! WE spent the next ten or so minutes looking everywhere just in case our laptop had been brought back, but no such luck.
I took the projector home with me to check it out and to keep it safe. I tried it out on my laptop and It is working perfectly.
Members of the Camera Club have come up with all sorts of theories as to how and why it was returned, but who knows. I think that this will remain one of lifes little mysteries.
This Sunday it is our turn to have Auntie May with us for the day, so I shall be going out shortly to pick her up.
Ah, heres Ena now with my mug of cocoa and medication, and a reminder not to forget I'm picking up Auntie May soon.
