Hi People. I have recently had a weeks holiday in North Wales, UK. Although I live in South wales this was the first time that I have been north of the border. What an eye opener. the scenery there is beautiful. My wife and I stayed in the town of Caernarfon, this is where Prince Charles had his investiture. we visited Portmeirion Village. Portmeirion is the place where a tv series called "The Prisoner" was made many years ago, but is still talked about today. The village was built by Clough Williams-Ellis, it took him 50 years to complete it and he was 90 years old when it was finished. I shall be uploading some pics of it soon.
Another place we visited was, wait for it,
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrnwyndrobwyllllantisiliogogogoch. The name takes up most of the station platform, I'll upload a pic of it soon. Oops, got to go, I am taking my wife to the dentist for her regular check-up. I'll do another blog about our trip soon. Roy.
