Thanks Rob for your comment. You have to be somewhat lucky with these types of shots here in Brisbane at this time of year and also without daylight saving the energy to get to the venue by 4:30 am for the sunrise. There was a horizon gap in the clouds out over the ocean. I find it best to expose for the highlights (slightly underexposing, overall) and in PhotoShop adding a touch of saturation to enhance the sun's rays. Regrds, Steve
