hi ya you need to shoot in raw and full manual ,if you have a flash use it with some paper over the flash ,set it to low power ,set your lens to F10 and the camera to ISO 100 1/200 and focus manualy

Thanks for the advice! unfortunatley i dont have an external flash yet, but next time i get a good photo op i will with a bug i will try what you suggested !! ill keep you posted!!!

ok Loren,no flash, keep the sun behind you but move slow so the bugs dont run off as your shadow gose over them use a Iso of 400 to 800 with that camera it give good pics at the speed ,use F 6 to F8 and 1/100 to 1/150 and with raw you can adjust the exp

try this sit on the ground w8 and the bugs will come to you put your elbose on your knees and look at the ground ,you will see 100 of bugs there ,you did'nt even see before
