I was delighted when I was given these beautful roses! Of course I had my camera out immediately. Now I can enjoy them forever.

Ann - great colors in the flowers and the mostly black background helps them stand out - that is for sure. I think that the photo may be just a tad "warm" when it comes to white balance and its a bit out of focus - probably due to a slow shutter speed and hand shake. Most shutter speeds below 1/60 of second are going to be difficult to hand hold. A tripod is needed for those slower speeds. Cheers.
