Description
Four baby wagtails - maybe a week old are already looking crowded in their tiny nest. Located in a grapevine in our orchard, they are just at the right level to pop a camera in under the leaves for a peek while the parents are hunting insects. You have to be fast to take a couple of snaps and be away again before they come back.
