Sleeper Back Fence

Description
Wooden fence was once part of a set of sheep yards.
It is unusual in two respects aside from its age.

It is made entirely from railway sleeper backs (What is left of the tree after square sleeper is cut from it) unusual building material for area. It has also been "twitched" together with fencing wire. I would say that very few people alive today would know how to double twitch wire. Although back then it was a cheep fastener if not labour intensive

Thanks for your kind comments about my photos of `Craigs Hut`. This is a top shot of the old fence. I just love these old fences that you find in the bush and also the old sheds, they make interesting subjects.Regards from Terry.
