thank you for sharing the technicl information with us

some people think that asking for such information is like invading their privecy

the photo looks like a painting with its deep green colors and the milky water

Nice subject matter. Actually, I love waterfall pictures.
In this case you should try it again at the time when the sun lits the scene. It would make it brighter and more vivid. You also should use some ND filter to get even longer shutter speed.

Having visited this place after a 4 hour drive there was only a trickle going over the fall so to see it in its full glory is very pleasing. Can't all ways be sure what the weather or conditions will be in South Wales and can change quickly so its often the luck of the draw.Nice shot no the less. Often think does it need some one in the picture to give it some sort of scaleing or a red cladded person for contrast but then there is no one around when you need them

Thanks everyone for your comments,I could have done with a little more light but full sun on waterfall shots is something I avoid like the plague. This is because excessive contrast is beyond the dynamic range of digital cameras often leading to burned out highlights and/or blocked up shadows. I chose this shutter speed to give texture to the water ,too slow a shutter speed results in the texture being lost through excessive blurring which I think looks too unnatural.

Regards,Les.
