Thanks, Farmum. I'm just beginning to explore this type of shot - close-ups, and the use of shadows and light. I looked for the negative spaces that are part of this photo. Had a lot of fun getting this shot.

Excellent artistic effect. Great detail. I also like the blue and grey contrast.
A bit more focus would be good.

This looks like great example of negative space and it's power to be involved in an image.The whole, sculpture and sky are a series of interacting curves and reflected curves that create much visual activity.The cools and warms in the shadows add colour interest. Looks like it would be a good base for a graphic publication of some sort. I would like to see some experiments with more reflected light in the shadows. No problem with focus on my monitor. Added to my favorites.
