Road To Recovery

Description
This nine-months old Asian elephant was rescued after having its left front foot caught in a steel trap in a remote jungle area in northern Cambodia. Amputation of the entire foot was successful and he is making a slow and very positive recovery. Picture taken at a WildAid animal Park and Rescue facility in central Cambodia.
