the light is just right,if you croped it its a bit tite,and I dont know where to look first and and I dont know why you are useing me I'v only had a camera for 8 months,and I'm lerning all the time ,now Loren did a great shot of a flower

Sorry about the low rating but you did ask what was wrong,if I rated it higher I would be doing some of the other contributors who produce some excellent images, an injustice, being dishonest would not help you. Now to what is wrong; your picture looks as if the camera was too near your subject and fell outside the minimum focus of the lens.I say this as the back of the picture appears sharpest because it was furthest away from the camera and the front petal being nearest to the camera, is out of focus.This is my best guess with this one because I do not have any information on the camera/lens combination that was used.
