Really like the lower angle that you took this photo from - a lot of people seem to be reticent to get down from a standing position to get a photo. I think that you shot this with a compact digital camera, which means one thing - a lot of DOF. This photo would have been even more dramatic if you could have used a larger aperture and get more of the background even more out of focus to highlight the single flower even more. I would also recommend a more off center subject.
