Even thought the grass cuts the eye of the owl, I still think its an awesome picture.
Knowing how shy owls are, I assume you must have been working really quitely not to scare it away.

It's a very lucky person that gets in position to photograph an owl, as for the grass .... it adds tremendously, this is a NatGeo moment.
