Description
This is a shot of the precious ancient city of Toledo, Spain, taken from a well-known vista point. Inside the city walls (built by the Romans in 2000 BC) stand cathedrals, synagogues, and mosques dating back to the seven-hundred year period of convivivencia (Spanish for "living together") between 700 and 1400 AD when Catholics, Jews, and Muslims lived peacably together in the heart of Spain.

Like the subtle colours of this ancient city.....what a pity we can't go back in time and see what is was like back then. Great composition.

During my trip through Europe, we visited Toledo. I think it was the most awe inspiring
city of our whole trip. Lovely Photo
