The difference between photo and snapshot is not a fine line.What could have been a typical zoo shot with unwanted secondary subject matter and an over exposed background,turns out to be an artwork when handled with knowledge and timing.We all know photography is about light and the light in this image is dramatic and controlled, yet natural enough to be believable."I" would like to see different proportions though, with either left or right view extension, to take him out of physical center and create some visual tension. ( i am one to talk with my 'in the center' tree portraits)
