Description
In central Colorado near Aspen. The Maroon Bells, both peaks at over 14,000 feet in elevation, are the most photographed mountain peaks in North America, and you really have to be there to truly appreciate them. After seeing them in person then you can understand why they are so heavily photographed.

Taken with 50 ISO slide film scanned to a digital file

Wow....what a beautiful shot. My eye was lead into the subject by the foreground rock (not distracting to me) and the shadows on either side. Very nicely done. Regards.
