i took these leaves in the wind ,they looked fantastic and great movement , which i havn't been able to capture ,,any advice ?

Mel, I am thinking that the way you captured these leaves and branches and the result works just as we see it. Sometimes the end result is different than the orginal plan but can be stunnung just the same. I like what you have taken here. Good work.

hi mel,a tripod and a slow shutter speed should give you some movement in your pictures,it can also look blurymso make sure you have some thing solid in your picture that does not move regards mick

Hi Mel..... you already have some sound advice from others so I will offer a slghtly different slant.

The colour mix is great (which is probably the reason you took the shot) so I would possibly have used a fast shutter to freeze the movement, retain the clarity and isolate all the idividual colours. However as Mick suggested I would have looked for a small solid subject to draw the eye into the shot.

A great effort nevertheless.... well done
