I downloaded for closer look as I couldn't make out the palican in the smaller format. Great lighting and contrast, I like the smooth weather beaten foreground.
Very nice shot, anyone viewing this shot should dowload as the smaller format doesn't do it justice.

I took Mr. Bee's advice and downloaded this image, and I must say it is stunning.

The lighting and composition are perfect

I could sit there with a beer and a book for hours and hours.

I agree with everyone, also, I love the triangular shape in the foreground, and the fairytale quality of the picture as a whole. Why hasn't this shot had a ten yet?
