Description
Taken at Thirlmere New South Wales. These old steam trains make regular runs on alternate weekends down this disused branch line. There is also a Railway Museum in the town alongside the track.

Nicely framed and a very good image of the old train. I have fond memories of the old trains like this from my days growing up in Camden in the '50s when they ran from there to Campbelltown. It was called "Puffing Billy" and sometimes failed to climb Kenny's Hill due to frost and ice on the tracks. I can still smell those old steam trains !! Cheers, Steve
