Hi Tanya, Yep, boys will be boys and they're usually super inquisitive at that young age, offering a multitude of candid photo opportunities. You have done well with the cross lighting on your subject. Try getting a little closer to you subjects by using the zoom on your lens, if possible. As time progresses your love of photography will grow and grow, I'm sure. Regards, Steve

Hoping you don't mind a bit of feedback, and maybe this is a personal preference, but I would suggest turning off any text that would imprint itself on the photo. I find that eyes are drawn to any text on a photo as we naturally want to read it. This could be a billboard, or a street sign, etc. In this case, my eyes were first drawn to the boy, but then immediately to the date on the lower corner.
