Don't let the above comment put you off, your shot is well composed and exposed and it is sharp.It is a good record shot of an artists work. I cannot think of any reason why this image is inappropriate for this site given that this statue is probably typical of something that can be found in many churches all over the world.IMHO I think personal taste should be put to one side when rating images.

I agree this image is portraying the artists work. I dont see how its innapropriate for the site. Good shot nice work.

thanks for the comments, personal opinions are just that, and it does not hurt my feelings at all. this artist did an excellent job with the statue, and i wanted to capture the emotion in the statue, and this is one of my fav pics of an inanimate object.

A good dramatic picture. Obviously evokes strong emotions for some which I would venture to say is part of what makes a great picture! I think it is a good photo, sharp focus, nicely composed. The subject grabs your attention. I don't think it's inappropriate at all. The subject matter is very common in many churches and therefore something many of us have seen often before and I don't find to be offensive.
