Hoover Dam

Description
We have crossed over Hoover Dam, located in northern Nevada, several times but I never got a photo that had any interest. So I'll try this one. The veiw is from the back top side of the Dam wall that holds back the large lake the flows through the Dam.

Nice shot Ann...Nice clarity and colour contrasts. Ususally everyone shoots the front of the dam. Glad to finally see what's behind the walls of the dam.

So you actually went over to the Arizona side of the dam? I never did get over there and from what I see in your shot it might have been worth the effort. Good picture. When you took the picture, was the water level very low? It was in November 2007 and is very evident.
