Hi Terry

When recieving a private you should recieve a message on your screen informing you that you have private message. Which you should be able to reply to pretty easy.

If you would like to send a private message I click on the users name in your case the word "Tez" this bring up your menu page. At the top of the page in blue it says
Add Friend|Send message. Click send message and it it brings up another screen with an editor in it. Hope this helps.
