Description
I spotted these growing on my Japanese Maple in my garden. I liked the colour and that they looked to be reaching out for each other.

The colour is very nice. Next time, try a tripod with a longer shutter speed to bring out the detail.

Thank you for your comment, I do have a tripod but I always forget to use it, I'll try to remember to leave it handy for the garden. I'm still learning about shutter speeds, but I will get there in the end. Thanks again.

The image may just be a hair dark. I like to tight crop composition - that is good - no extraneous stuff on either side to draw the viewers eye away from the subject. Something that might have even helped more with that would be a slightly more blurred background for the photo. That could be achieved with a more wide open aperture - this shot was at f/5 - the background elements could have been even more blurred at a wider aperture. Just a thought.

Hi I think aside of the teck stuff which will come, for comp reasons you should study the way the left and right draws you to the center and holds you. Maybe nothing of interest there now but you will learn to get something there. Just my 2 cents.
