A brave attempt at something different,it is certainly unusual.For a shot like this to work you need moody lighting.The lighting here is just too bland and lets the whole image down. With a little more experience an experimentation behind you will do very well in photography ,a pro in the making is what I see here.Good luck.

This photograph challenges the perception of what a portrait is and the importance of self expression through the self portrait. Another thing I like is that its not done with a flash built in to the camera like Iv'e seen a lot here. Finally with a little creative edge and understanding of the word aesthetic. Iv'e seen lots of brave attempts that are failures to use the program Photoshop and this is no attempt at a photo but a work that defines yourself as a person socially and academically.
