Has Reincarnation Been Proven?

Description
An elderly couple owns a wildflower garden close to where I live. The woman came out when she saw that I was taking photo's of her flowers on October 19/07. She advised me that her son had passed away 5 months earlier. I told her that I had taken pictures of a butterfly in her garden earlier in the day. Upon hearing that she began to cry and went to get her husband. I was bewildered as to what was happening and what I had done. She and her husband told me that before their son passed away he advised them that he would come back as a butterfly so that he could be close to and spend time in thier beautiful garden. Needless to say, I got emotional. I have given a print of this picture to the couple for them to hold onto their son's promise to revisit them as a butterfly. SO...has reincarnation been proven?

What a wonderful story!! I am so glad that you captured this for them. It is a beautiful picture too! Love the flowers and butterfly's colors!

Beautiful photo & story! I don't believe people become animals or insects when they pass on but I know they can send signs to the people who loved & miss them to let them know they are OK! My best friend of 30 years passed on at age 58. We had always said who ever died first would send yellow butterflies to the other. Three months after she passed away I had a very pesky little yellow butterfly that flew up & down & all around me. I remembered our deal & it brought me to tears. It gets better. He husband was staying with us while his new home was being finished and that pesky little yellow butterfly not only flew around him but followed him into the house and lit a inch away from his hand as if she was saying Hello! This is not a Halloween story! It really happened. I still see little yellow butterflies from time to time. I hope this story won't upset anyone. god has given us a beautiful world as we photographers know well!

The beautiful colours made me have a closer look to this picture and I enjoyed it very much. I do not believe in reincarnation but I like your and Ann?s comment.
Sometimes it feels good to talk to people who have died and to feel their presence
in which way however.
