Someone told me that this shot looks like one of the shots that Microsoft offers up as a desktop image or screen saver.

Was taken in Rivière des Prairies near Montreal.

hello

yes it does look like a Microsoft image

but that does not mean it is not a great photo

i have a question is it an HDR image or does it look like that right of the camera?

it looks like that right of the camera. it was taken with Olympus E-410 set on landscape mode.
