I opened it up as invited and will never see a house fly in the same way again, gruesome!! but photographically fantastic.

Goodness what a shot, well done. I have been thinking about getting a new camera, and was considering getting the Canon 400D, with the right macro lense (any recommendations gratefully received) will I be able to get such a great shot?

if i was i would w8 3 more weeks the NEW 450D is out then with 12 mp a good start is the EF-S 60 or EF 100 if your in the uk £650 will get you the 450D and the EF-S 60 2.8 macro £730 with the EF 100 2.8 macro

my new setup was £680 for the camera and £700 for the lens
my old setup was the 400D £499 and the Sigma 150 2.8 macro £380 I still have for big bugs and is still a great setup
