Description
I took the shot of the collier on his last day at work before the pit was closed down, I took the shot of the colliery at the same time. I then superimposed one onto the other, and lit the lamp.

I like this one - I like your idea of superimposing one picture onto the other and the picture of the collier captures pain in his eyes.

Sorry Farmum. The pit is Deep Navigation, in Treharris, which is in the borough of Merthyr Tydfil, South wales. The life of the Pit was from 1873 to 1991 I took these and many other photos on the last day, all in Black & White.

Nice Photo. Black and white photos done properly, as this one is done, will most always tell a story. Your double exposure of a miner tells the story in a greater detail. Good Photo.
