Description
It's rare to see the East side of Mt. Hood in Oregon. The well known photos are of the West Side that looks the Portland area. This was a treat for me to shoot.

Great subject matter - I've never had the chance to photograph this peak although I have been to the area many times. The tree in the foreground on the right gives the photo more depth than if it was not there. I was hoping the full size was a bit larger to see more detail. I might tweak the white balance just a bit - might be just a touch "blue"....

I agree with privateidaho on the subject matter. I do think however to get the most out of it, you need to photograph it under different lighting conditions. If it was me I would try just after Sunrise, this would deepen the blue in the sky and add a little more contrast to the Mount Hood, without the need to alter digitally. Great work though.
