This is in an area of Northern South Australia known as the Painted Desert.Gypsam in the soil gives the area some unusual colours.

I really like this pic. You have balanced it very well, the colours are great and I have to agree with bizzybuzzybee the clouds are fabulous. It reminds me of where I grew up in West Australia. Truely beautiful landscape, nicely captured.
