Description
The Lord Nelson has been lovingly restored by Eastleigh Railway Preservation Society at the old Southern Railway workshops at Eastleigh where she was originally built in 1926. We were lucky enough to go on her first trip after being restored and tested. We started out day trip being hauled by a diesel from Eastleigh to Minehead where the Lord Nelson was waiting to take us on our return trip to Eastleigh. A long day but well worth it
