Very nice shot,not convinced that the added zoom blur works on this type of subject,perhaps a diffused soft focus effect would be more suitable here.

I, on the other hand, think this shot has a flow to it and the technique works with regards to the motion and the colour and the place where the picture was taken. The fact that you photographed two little kids makes it all the better. I love it.

As a purist, I prefer to create my photo's "through the lens" as opposed to trying to create special effects as an afterthought. I give you credit for transforming a probable average photo into something different, as I appreciate the time and effort you have given.

I agree with Les that maybe a softer focus would be more appealing to my eye. But still a great shot. I like the contrast of the bright clothing against the gray background.
