I found this praying angel to be somehow very touching. It was standing alone in a field of trees. Carved stone.

wouldn't have it any other way. :P The clipping of the wings is intentional to focus and bring the viewer to what I found interesting, the praying face and hands. With the wings intact it becomes less personal and more like a photograph of just any lawn ornament. The clipping/cropping brings the viewer closer and removes the environment as a visual consideration.

Though, your not the first to say exactly that. So... I'm gunna shoot another, with wings, just to see if all my fancy symbolic thoughts are justified.

I love cemetery/statue/headstone shots and I love this one!
