Description
Portrait of an Australian Frill-Necked lizard. Photographed at The Brisbane Botanical Gardens. Fairly docile and harmless little creature and it seemed quite used to the human-presence in the gardens. These lizards are very common throughout the norther and warmer parts of Austalia. They spend 90% of their time in trees and when they are frightened they will run away on their back legs and head for the nearest tree.
