Description
This sleepy village looked like it had not changed a bit from mediaval times. When I climbed a hill one Sunday morning, to overlook the Rhine Valley, I could even hear the church bells ring and imagined how this little village would slowly wake now.

Nice shot, with the fall colors and the village in the background really makes this a great photo. I love fall colors as you can see from some of my photos.

I like the fact that your viewpoint is higher than the trees in the foreground, this way it is easy to get into the picture and onto the path just beyond the trees. I can almost see myself walking along that path in my younger years. Is it the Rhine valley Germany? If so, what part?

Yes Manroy, it is in Germany.
Not far from Mainz and pretty much at the point where the Rhine enters the actual valley (with Lorelei rock, etc. not far from it)
