An Egyptain Experience (1)

Not yet rated

Description
For my wife's birthday (Oct 20, 2007), we spent a few days in Las Vegas, Nevada (USA) at the Luxor Hotel located on the famed Las Vegas Strip. It was one of Las Vegas' first fully-themed Mega-Resorts and has an Ancient Egyptian motif with a total of almost 5,000 rooms lining the interior walls of a hollow Pyramid contained within twin ziggurat towers that were built as later additions. The hotel is named after the city of Luxor (ancient Thebes) in Egypt, the site of the Valley of the Kings, Karnak and Luxor Temples, and scores of other pharaonic monuments. It is a Photographer's Paradise and a smogesboard of photo opts you're not likely to find outside Cairo. Just thought you'd enjoy these favorites.
