AEB=Auto exposure bracketing,this is handy to use when tricky lighting situations can fool the cameras meter into giving the wrong exposure.When this mode is enabled you can set up your camera to vary the exposure around the meter reading suggested by your camera. This allows you to dial in exposure compensation in 1/3rd stop increments either side of the metered reading. I would suggest reading the cameras manual to see how it works with your model.

Also using AEB allows you to if you have a tripod create a HDR photo, with alot of post production work in photoshop or similar programs - HDR is High Dynamic Range
