Welcome to internet telephone

Skype is very good, and if you are talking with people that are just on a computer with a mic and headphones it won't cost you anything beyond your internet connection. I have spoken to many people about the US and canada and it was crisp and quick, very little lag present. Very worth looking at if you haven't alreadt

If you are feeling adventurous you can also do other interesting things with VOIP technology. Such as connecting remotely with a lappy and using your own landline amoung other things.

I feel the telcos have a bit of a reality check coming sometimes
