G'day Azeem,

I recently purchased use a Canon ix4000, A3 inkjet for both document and photographs. It gives pretty good 'hangable' results and is not a bad al-round smallish printer. There are a number of other similar models on the market which I could have purchased though the Canon model I had before (i6500) was quite good, tho I wore it to death.

there's a few goo brand web sites around.

Good Luck

I have Cannon MP530 does upto A4 Borderless and real nice job it does but recently I have asked myself why spend AUS $500 when a photo lab will print me a 10 x 15 inch for $8.00. Wear and tear on a printer, ink consumption, depreciation, paper cost. Even a standard 6 x 4 @ $0.25 is cheaper than printing yourself. Next printer for my house Dot matrix and trip to photo lab once a month. Just my 2 cents worth.

I print on an Epson 1290 A3 printer which gives which is capable of delivering exhibition quality A3+ prints. It is now discontinued and Epson have replaced it with the R14OO.
Generally I seldom make small prints, especially large quantities because it is to time consuming and expensive to do at homes and the local lab can produce excellent 6x4 prints for ten UK pence.I recently had 150 7x5 prints done for £23.00 because that amount of prints would have taken many hours to produce at home and would have cost a small fortune in ink and paper.
