A friend of mine (experienced photographer) recently joined MyShots at my recommendation. He was accepted, has a username and uploaded a photo. This got three replies and a rating of 8 incidentally.

He wishes to make comments and upload more photos, but each time he comments it seems to upload, but does not appear in the comments. Therefore he can't upload any more photos because his comments/photos ratio is too low!

He said he has emailed MyShots explaining the situation a couple of weeks ago but has received no reply or help. Can somebody please fix this? There may be others in his situation. Thanks.

Rick directed Andrew to me to see if I could provide a solution and Andrew contacted me via a private message to which I responded immediately.

I suggested that maybe he was not checking the remember box at sign in as a possible cause of his difficulty.

If he has not got my PM could you suggest this to him on my behalf?

When I first joined, my forum replies were appearing as anonymous and was caused by not checking the remember box and it took me a while to realize what was happening.

Lets hope he gets it sorted out so that he can participate fully and show us his work,which judging by the one he managed to post, should be great.

Ahh, thanks so much Les! I must admit I haven't spoken to Andrew on this for a few days - I'll make sure he is aware of it if he hasn't checked his PMs!

Hello Rob and Les,

Many thanks for taking an interest in what could be a broader problem. Thanks Les, I recieved your PM and have tried checking-in at the reminder box at sign in but both checking and un-checking haven't solved the problem.

It may be something at my end and when I'm next out-and-about i'll log-in on another computer and see if I am able to make a comment from there.

I'll see how I go.

I must admit I haven't seen any comments from new photographers.

The main thing is my shutter button still works!

Well I trawled through past forums and did like they all said, just downloaded modzilla firefox, as safari just dont cut the mustard. Look out photographers, here the comments come!!!
