Inspired by another thread I have questions to ask.

My mother in law is a complete technophobe. She cannot use anything with a menu, and nothing with too many buttons :P She can't even work her DVD player.

I recently bought her a keychain digital mini camera and she cannot use it. I am looking to gift her something with better picture quality than that camera has, but simplicity of use.

Any recommendations? Cheap would be good too ;)

Depends.. . i'd say Canon:
Powershot: for big hands
Ixus: for thin fingers

The powershot (at least the A620 that I have) is WAY too complicated a camera. There isn't a single thing on it that I would consider simple. Her father has the A520 and that is no better; I have to go up every week and show him again what I showed him the week before.

Thanks for the thought though.

The Kodaks seem to be among the easiest I've seen. Excellent pictures with the dock printer.

I agree with jjfish, I use a Kodak EasyShare Z700, It has simple functions and you can get great pics from it. The dock printer is a real bonus.
