I use my digital camera to take pictures, upload the pictures to my computer, and then send them to Walgreens.com to have them printed. I can pick them up at the store, but sometimes their machines are broken and they cannot print my pictures.

Does anybody know where else I can have my pictures printed? Do other drug stores have this same deal, and are they cheaper than Walgreens?

I am not sure of WG prices, but www.shutterfly.com has specials, I just took advantage of one. I make a ton of scrap books for my daughter and I get 4 X 6 prints (25 of them) for free, only paying S & H, its about 3 dollars.

If it is in your area, you can also try Kmart & Walmart, but it depends on your location (city or country) if those stores have the capability to do so.

There are many places that have the same service, including Walmart and Sam's club-Sam's being VERY cheap and having wonderful prices on larger prints (including posters). I have not seen their prices beaten anywhere.

I am originally from MD, and there are Sam's Clubs all over. I just checked and the closest SC to me now is 20 minutes away. I think I will check the local places, if someone has a good deal, I may start using them instead of SF.

I didn't know that Sam's club had a cheap photo printing service, but I'll check intot hat. Can yousubmit the pictures online to them or do you have to go there to have it done?

Ashley, I stopped at the local grocery store this evening, they had a small photo/print out. I looked at the price and for .29/cents you can get ONE 4 X 7. I was kind of shocked about that, think I might end up sticking with SF for a bit longer.

You can upload to their website and then pick them up in store, or have them mailed to you. Prices are wonderful;

Size Mail Order 1- Hour 2-3 Day
4x6 11¢ 17¢ 13¢
5x7 54¢ 38¢ 54¢
8x10 1.86 1.46 1.86
11x14 4.62
16x20 11.27
Wallet 46¢ 17¢ 46¢

I've never seen prices for enlargements as low as that.

Those are some good prices, Britlady. I love being able to upload the photos from home. It just makes the whole process so much easier. I don't like having to use the touch screen at the store to try and edit the photos and resize them.

I have never used that service in truth so I cannot commiserate! I mostly print my own; I have a very wonderful old printer that does a beautiful job. But when I need something a little larger than it can manage, I just use an online service.
