So how many comments about other peoples photos do I need to do before I can play in the sand box? I want to upload more photos but I keep getting that message about doing 1 more comment. I have done one more, I have done several. Sure I will keep it up but how long do I have to be in the penalty box?

There is no such thing as a penalty box, the system is there to encourage people to give comments and not only blindly posting images.
Just add a few more comments and you will be able to upload without problems.

Well, back to the comments question. I have been posting comments on the photos that I like and I see a lot of them. I just want to upload more photos and see what people think about them. I have posted many comments about other peoples photos but still I can't upload mine. Kojak, you said "Just add a few more comments and you will be able to upload without problems." I have added many more comments. So now what?

Thanks Luffy, I agree. Yet I have I have commented on at least 20 to 30 photos. You'd think this enough to be able to post some of my photos. I'll keep trying I guess. Perhaps Kojak or some other administrator could shed some light on this problem.

OK I just commented on two more photos. One of which is Kojak's photo of the flying bat. A great shot mind you. But when I check my profile it still says no comments made. Know what, do move on to flicker.com? Please help

I answered my own question. It seems that Yahoo doesn't work well with the web site. I switched browsers to Mozilla Fire Fox and boom, my comments are being posted. So know we all know.
